As announced, Microsoft will retire Internet Explorer on August 17, 2021. But so far, not all functionalities of Project Online are available on Chrome or Edge. We developed a solution for what ‘s still missing.
For a long time IE was the preferred browser for Project Online and as a consequence, not all functionalities were available on other browsers. Luckily most of them are by now. For example, it’s now possible to open the Enterprise Calendars in MS Project from Chrome and Edge .
However until now, copy and paste values from within an Excel list into a Lookup Table (LUT) is still only possible in Internet Explorer. To remediate this we developed an app allowing to import values from Excel into a Lookup Table.
