As of October 6th 2020 Microsoft no longer supports versions of Teams on Apple ® iPhones/iPads/Mac running from the DMG.
Microsoft announces that from that day on updates of the macOS MS Teams client will only be distributed via their standard PKG file. Since August 7th Apple users get a message with a link to a download of the PKG file. Microsoft strongly recommends them to install this version of Teams on their smartphone/tablet/PC.
